SDG 13
Climate Action

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Climate change is the single greatest threat to our planet. It threatens the progress, livelihoods, and very survival of our species.

Around the world, over 21 million people have been forcibly displaced due to climate change-related weather hazards in the last 10 years, and the sea level is expected to rise four feet before this century is over due to high levels of greenhouse gases.

In Canada, the temperature is rising more quickly than the global average due to our proximity to the Arctic.

Climate change is a truly global challenge. We can, and must, work together to build a more sustainable world by 2030.
