Kevin Hakim Etienne

Kevin started his journey with EWB in 2015 while studying at McGill University where he was a General Chapter Member before becoming a VP of Global Engineering. From there, upon transferring to ETS University in 2017 and seeing that there was no EWB Chapter on campus, Kevin took it upon himself to create one in order to offer to his peers the same learnings and opportunities he was already introduced to from xChange conferences to Day of Actions, Member Learnings, Regional Retreats and many more. Following his graduation as a Founder and Exiting President in 2022, Kevin became a Co-Lead of the Community Distributed Team operating at the national level, where his in-depth knowledge of EWB was yet again another opportunity to give back to others.

After having the chance to intern on three different continents and growing from exposure to cultures different from his own, Kevin is now furthermore developing his leadership, communication and governance skills as a graduated engineering student and rising project manager in the field of digital automation and energy management. Kevin is eager to keep striving to be part of the solution rather than the problem, and collectively make the world of tomorrow fairer and cleaner for all.
