Rural Infrastructure—A Simple Technological Problem?

Ghana is thought of as Africa’s most likely country to reach middle income status in the next 15-20 years. I find this more believable for Ghana’s southern districts, than in the north. Poor health, low education levels, and high unemployment reflect not only a lack in human resource capacity, but also a plain and simple lack of infrastructure. Read more »

March was National Engineering Month across Canada, and for EWB’s 40,000 members the most important date in the engineer’s calendar was National EWB Day. This March, hundreds of EWB volunteers engaged Canadians in the location where their decisions have the biggest impact on farmers in developing communities: their local grocer’s shelf.
