EWB’s community is our 12,000 Canadian volunteers from our 39 university and professional chapters who are ensuring Canada leads the way in tackling global inequality. They’re our 100 Canadian and African volunteers across sub-Saharan Africa who, with our local partners, are tackling root causes of poverty.
They’re our 20,000 alumni who are founders of Canadian engineering companies or of the largest mobile payments processor in southern Africa. They’re changing the way local communities, governments and international donors work together to improve water and sanitation access, or how smallholder farmers access irrigation pumps to grow their agribusinesses.
