Introducing our 2020-2021 Community Distributed Team

EWB is excited to announce our 2020-2021 Community Distributed Team!

Composed of 8 volunteers and 3 national portfolios, the distributed team is represented by EWB Chapter members across 7 of our Canadian membership regions. The team will be working with our National Office as well as our University Chapters to coordinate activities at the regional level. They will be focused on streamlining and growing EWB’s work through collective engagement and impact. During this academic year, the Community DT will be working on expanding and building upon three national portfolios, Reconcili-ACTION, Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships, and Local Action.

The Reconcili-ACTION portfolio will be working towards creating a vision and timeline for how EWBers can work more intentionally, equitably and appropriately alongside Indigenous communities in Canada.

The Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships portfolio will be focusing on connecting with and building relationships with donors who are excited to be engaged in larger-scale, systems change projects.

Finally, the Local Action Portfolio will be responsible for creating opportunities for students and building connections between local issues and the approaches EWB takes to make systemic change.

We can’t wait to see all the amazing work the team accomplishes this year!
