We have achieved some amazing things together. Since 1990, we’ve lifted more than 1 billion people out of extreme poverty and made huge gains in health and education. We’ve reduced child mortality by half and put economic inequality, climate change and sustainable development on the global agenda.
Though we face the daunting challenges of rising inequality, conflict and climate change, we have seen the power of collective effort, creativity and determination.
If we courageously commit to working together, we can – and will – build a better world for all by 2030.
