The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the world of international development. Our staff and volunteers have returned, our fellowship program is suspended, and we are looking at ways to continue to support our partners during the crisis.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Canada’s International Development Minister Karina Gould will be joining EWB Community members for an Instagram Live Q&A to explore these issues Monday May 4th at 1pm EST.

We’ll talk with her about the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on international development efforts, the defunding of the World Health Organization, Canada’s international leadership in the global response, and more!

This conversation is the second event in our Beyond Borders Impact Series, which explores the challenges and opportunities for international NGOs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
