Tune In To Discuss Our Ventures’ Commitment to Gender Inclusion (July 30th)

We’re very excited about the next session in our Beyond Borders Impact Series. EWB recently completed a Gender Lens Investing (GLI) pilot, which involved working with a number of our portfolio and pipeline ventures in Sub-Saharan Africa to integrate their own gender lens approach. And we’ve invited leaders from some of the participating ventures to join us for this conversation!

Together, we’ll examine their key learnings and challenges from the GLI pilot as well as how they’ve continued to increase gender-related conversations and awareness across their organisations.

This conversation around incorporating a gendered lens strategy for positive social and business impact is a meaningful one – and we need your input.

We are proud to have had the financial support of the Mastercard Foundation for the GLI pilot. This foundation is an international non-governmental organization established in 2006 and aims to develop programs primarily in the fields of education, employment and agriculture.

While there is still so much more work to be done in this space, we’re very optimistic about the potential of gender lens investing as a means for battling inequities and promoting lasting social change.
