As the Kumvana Fellowship Program Celebrates 10 Years, We’re Announcing a Special Alumni Showcase!
We’re very happy to announce the next installment of our Beyond Borders Impact Series.
On Wednesday, June 10th we’re welcoming several alumni from the Kumvana Fellowship Program for a 60-minute live panel discussion. Sign up here to join the discussion.
Not only will our panelists discuss their experiences as fellows, but they’ll share details on how the COVID-19 health crisis has impacted the communities and economies across Africa. Each of our alumni’s local initiatives have been forced to adapt alongside the challenges presented by the pandemic; In the webinar they will shed light on how they’ve evolved strategies to ensure they’re continuing to positively impact local communities during this time of isolation.

In Case You Missed Them. Don’t Forget to Catch-up On Past Live Engagements
As you might already know, last month we launched our Beyond Borders Impact Series for EWBers. This series was designed to connect our community through live, engaging discussions with thought-leaders who are aligned to our mission towards inclusivity and sustainability.
In mid-April we were thrilled to welcome Louis Dorval, Cofounder of Viamo; Sara Ehrhardt, Senior Policy Advisor at Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry; and Jason Carmichael, Cofounder and CEO of TIBU. Together with our CEO, Boris Martin, the panel focused on the impact COVID-19 has had on international aid and the importance of finding creative and innovative ways for activism and advocacy during the health crisis.
And earlier this month, Canada’s International Development Minister, Karina Gould, headlined an Instagram Live session to speak about how COVID-19 has impacted the nation’s international development efforts.
