Practitioners working in the impact investing sector are still trying to understand if and how impact investment makes a meaningful positive difference in people’s lives. The same is true for gender lens investment specifically. EWB has launched an evaluation project in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, to bring light and insight to these questions. The project is an opportunity to explore and measure some of the outcomes associated with gender lens investment as practiced by EWB Canada in three countries: Ghana, Uganda and Kenya.
