Hi, I’m in chemical engineering. I want to make a positive impact in my community and I don’t know where to start so I think that the SCEC program will give me the tools. I want to use my skills in engineering as a tool to address social challenges and improve the quality of life of people who didn’t have a chance to be born in Canada. I have always had a deep sense of fairness about standing up against injustice and supporting people in need. I’m also someone who is known for her honesty, empathy, and sensitivity so I can’t stay still and watch people who need help and do nothing about it. I believe that with collaboration and dedication we can make changes in the world. I’m not someone who is scared to try, fail, retry . I’m always gonna give the best with what I have to help others.
