Wimi Brenda Neily Houndonougbo is a second year student in construction engineering at ETS Montreal. She has a college diploma in civil technology and is specializing in quality controls of materials in urban infrastructure. Her interests are engineering, entrepreneurship and international development with an interest focus on how technical solutions can improve community life. She was drawn to SCEC because it emphasized on collaboration and the creation of important change through engineering and social innovation. Brenda is interested to learn how to work in collaboration with communities to create solutions that are practical and sustainable.

Originally from Benin ( country of West Africa), Brenda enjoys business ideas and community initiatives that combine creativity and local impact. She values opportunities that connect people of different backgrounds and perspectives together.
