She is a mechanical engineering student at McGill University and is especially interested in Biomechanics or how to implement mechanics to solve biological issues. What drew her to the SCEC are the communal and intersectional elements to the program. She is interested in not only the engineering aspect of the program but also on the policies they affect and how to harmonize both aspects to create an impactful change on many communities. The combination of both engineering and humanities is what solidified her desire to be part of SCEC.
