Shathviki Krishnaraj

Shathviki Krishnaraj is an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and Co-President of the university’s Engineers Without Borders chapter. Her interests lie at the intersection of safety engineering, international development, and equitable infrastructure, with experience spanning nuclear safety, transit systems, and global development.

She was drawn to SCEC for its focus on long-term, sustainable, and community-driven solutions. This aligns with her passion for designing systems that are not only technically sound, but also socially impactful.

This summer, Shathviki is completing a co-op in Mae Sot, Thailand with the Inclusive Education Foundation, supporting education initiatives for migrant communities along the Thai–Myanmar border.
