Salma Elgohary

Home About Us Our People Scec Cohort 2026 Ontario West Salma Elgohary

Salma Elgohary is a part of the University of Waterloo EWB chapter, and is studying Environmental Engineering. My areas of interest span engineering for equity and justice, policy and advocacy.

What drew me to SCEC is the concept of systems thinking, and analyzing problems holistically, in the hopes to solve them sustainably. One thing about me is I love seeing geese on my campus (contrary to popular opinion).
