Nievae Centurione

Nievae Centurione

Nievae Centurione (Knee-ev-eh… don’t worry, it’s a tough one) is currently completing her final semester of Mechanical Engineering with an Environmental specialization at the University of Windsor. She has a strong interest in sustainable systems and renewable energy, and is always open to learning and expanding her interests as she grows in her career.

Alongside her studies, Nievae co-leads the University of Windsor’s Engineers Without Borders chapter. She is drawn to SCEC because she believes that creating meaningful, lasting change requires growing both as an engineer and as a person, and is excited to develop a stronger systems-thinking lens to bring back to the work and communities she is part of.

Outside of engineering, one of her favourite hobbies is snowboarding, and her name also means “snow” in Spanish!
