Rafia Khan

Rafia Khan is a Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE) student at Simon Fraser University, with a strong interest in systems thinking, sustainable infrastructure, and climate-focused innovation. She is particularly passionate about the intersection of engineering, policy, and entrepreneurship, and how these areas can work together to create scalable, real-world impact.

She was drawn to SCEC and EWB because of their focus on tackling complex global challenges through collaborative, systems-level solutions. She is especially interested in learning how to design solutions that are not only technically effective, but also socially and economically sustainable.

Outside of academics, she enjoys baking, biking, and exploring local cafes, always on the lookout for new spots and good coffee.
