Mariska Hermano

Mariska Hermano is a member of the UVic EWB Build Project Team creating habitat boxes for local wildlife conservation. She is going into her fourth and final year of undergrad double majoring in environmental studies and sociology, with her ultimate goal being a career in sustainable urban architectural design that accounts for the needs of both people and the planet.

Mariska is excited to spend her summer learning how to implement interventions to solve social and environmental problems through design with a healthy side of travelling, tiramisu, blasting Fleetwood Mac in her ’05 Malibu “John Sylvia Carfield,” spending time with friends and family and whatever else life has in store.
