Nic Moyer, President-CEO, Cooperation Canada
Nicolas Moyer is CEO of Cooperation Canada, the national association representing the over 2,000 international development and humanitarian organizations in Canada. A strategic alliance builder with proven leadership in the non-profit sector, Nicolas has founded and led many large-scale inter-agency initiatives, launched dozens of multi-platform fundraising and communications campaigns and raised tens of millions of dollars to assist survivors of humanitarian disasters. Driven by a commitment to social justice, he began his career in international development in Ethiopia. His work at Cooperation Canada focuses on supporting sector impact and driving sector-wide policy advocacy for international cooperation assistance.
Nicolas has degrees in Economics (Université de Montréal), International Relations (MacQuarie University, Australia) and an Executive MBA (Queen’s University). In 2016, he was named as a top Forty Under 40 recipient by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal.
