Engineers Without Borders creates change by supporting social innovations in Canada and Africa that can break the systems that sustain poverty. We promote policies to foster more equitable development. We invest in leaders who enable others to reach their full potential.
Engineers Without Borders Canada is a vibrant community of innovative students, professionals and fellows working to create systemic change in Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa. We are a movement of thousands of engaged members who share a passion for addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality.
EWB members are striving to achieve a world where Canadian and African governments, institutions, and people working together to unlock human potential and accelerate sustainable, inclusive global development. Ahead of the 2015 federal election, we’re uniting voters and candidates through #PoliticsAside—a national conversation about Canadian leadership in improving health, education, and economic opportunity for people in the world's poorest countries.
EWB Canada invests in ventures that will drive innovations to change the systems that cause and perpetuate poverty. We spark and accelerate their growth, build their capacity and ensure their long-term independence and sustainability. Our ventures receive financial support, volunteers and professional mentorship that help guide their actions toward greater, sector-wide impact.
