David&#8217;s appointment comes at a pivotal time for EWB Canada as the organization navigates a changing, and challenging landscape for international development both in Canada and abroad. Since January 2025, David has served as Interim CEO for EWB Canada, assuming the position after having served 5 years as Chair of EWB&#8217;s Board of Directors. David&#8217;s experience in the organization spans more than a decade, and includes having been a Chapter President and overseas fellow in Kenya and Uganda. Beyond EWB, David holds a BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, and an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge. Previously he has worked in the private sector as an Infrastructure Advisory Consultant at Mott MacDonald, a global engineering consulting firm, and in the development sector as an Infrastructure Analyst with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), the infrastructure and project management arm of the UN.
