Institutional grants are funds received from government and UN agencies and those related to multi-year funding from corporations and foundations.  The IGM will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and managing institutional grant opportunities and for forging relationships with key institutional stakeholders. You will work closely with internal EWB teams to develop compelling grant proposals and manage the grant application process. This role requires strong research and writing skills, excellent project management abilities, and a keen understanding of institutional funding landscapes. Key Responsibilities: Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential institutional grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission, programs, and projects. Stay up-to-date with trends, regulations, and best practices in institutional funding to maximize chances of securing grants. Proposal Development: Collaborate with program managers, finance team, and other relevant stakeholders to develop grant proposals that align with funder priorities and meet their requirements. Write and edit compelling grant proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to grant guidelines and deadlines. Develop budgets and budget narratives for grant proposals, working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance. Joint Proposal Development with Partners Identify relevant partners for joint proposals Manage and coordinate collaborative efforts with partner organizations in the submission of joint proposals Grant Application Management: Manage the end-to-end grant application process, including gathering necessary documentation, completing application forms, and submitting proposals within deadlines.
