The opportunity This role involves routine bookkeeping activities in a progressive, non-profit  organization. We are currently a $5 million organization, with an ambitious growth plan for the next 5 years. We receive revenue and pay for expenses using more than 40 bank accounts that must be reconciled from all of our chapters across Canada. Our volunteers and staff incur expenses in Canadian dollars, Ghanaian cedis, Malawian kwacha, and a foreign currencies. This is a contract fulltime role [18 months] in an office with people who are deeply passionate, high energy and hard working. You’ll be working on a GREAT team with highly engaged, committed and supportive individuals. You’ll work most closely with our Director of Finance. You’ll also have the chance to integrate into our dynamic and creative office environment, in which learning, commitment to personal growth and a sense of purpose are in huge supply.
